Ending Poverty and Homelessness
- The Anglican Diocese of Edmonton, along with partners at the Capital Region Housing Interfaith Housing Initiative and EndPovertyEdmonton, have created a new resource for Edmonton’s religious and spiritual communities. The End Poverty Action Guide, funded by the Anglican Foundation of Canada, is full of inspiring stories, resources and calls to action.
- In 2017, the City of Edmonton and Homeward Trust Edmonton released an Updated Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness. In 2009, Edmontonians committed to an ambitious goal of ending homelessness. Although Edmonton has made progress toward the targets of the original 10-year plan, we know have a better understanding of the resources required to end homelessness.
